The way that we generally work is as follows:

We agree with you what the O&M Manual should contain and design a template with your company branding around the agreed layout. This becomes your generic template.

Then for each job, if required, we customise your template to meet the requirements of that job or client.

The O&M Manual is built upon this template and a Draft version is issued (usually electronically) for comments and checking. The manual is then adapted to accomodate the comments and the final manual printed and / or burnt to disc and delivered

Levels of Service

Service Level 1: This service is for clients who want as little to do with the manuals as possible. We compile the O&M Manuals from the bare minimum of information.

What we require from you is:

• Job Specification
• Job start and finish dates and draft manual date if known
• A procurement schedule or other list of all materials / equipment used / installed and the associated part or model numbers
• Contact details of any subcontractors
• Information regarding any changes to the above
• As built drawings, drawings schedule, signed / scanned Test & Commissioning sheets and Test & Commissioning sheet schedule

Service Level 2: Perfect for clients who want the majority of the manual compilation taken care of by us but who want to minimise costs by taking on the small amount of technical content themselves. We compile most of the manual but rely on in-depth technical information being supplied by our client or their subcontractors

What we require from you is the information in the high level service shown above, plus:

• Your input regarding adapting the generic operation, maintenance sections to reflect that particular job

Service Level 3: We issue you a template to complete (much of the generic information is already done). You then send it back to us for final alterations, branding and conversion to the finished printed and electronic Operation and Maintenance manuals.

What we require from you is:

• For you to complete the job-specific parts of the template and return it to us

Mechanical & Electrical O&M Manuals

We have a professional technical author for writing the technical parts of the M&E O&M Manuals. We offer a full Mechanical and Electrical Operation and Maintenance Manual service that means that M&E clients can supply us with the bare minimum of information and have high quality manuals produced with as little fuss as possible.

The M&E O&M Manual service also includes production of the Building Logbook.
