Regardless of whatever financial difficulties lie ahead, construction projects still require complete O&Ms and owners cannot let properties without them.

Historically we’ve seen companies ignore their O&Ms whenever costs need to be cut but there’s no escaping them and they’ll come back to bite.

In the past there have been many cases of main contractors forgetting about the handover documentation because money is tight only to remember as handover approaches. Then there’s the mad panic when they realise that there’s only a couple of weeks to do them and they haven’t got the resources. So they get us to quote and don’t like the costs which are always higher for these late notice jobs.

Please don’t forget about the O&Ms and other handover documentation.
